Furch's Vintage 1 Series stands out with a rich balanced tone and a no-frills design. This all solid-wood guitar is built with AA sitka spruce and AA Indian rosewood often used on instruments costing almost twice as much.
 
Sitka spruce gives the guitar a powerful, direct tone that is capable of retaining its clarity even when played aggressively. It exhibits a wide dynamic response and a robust, meaty tone. On the back and sides, East Indian rosewood complements with a strong complex bottom end and imparts an overall warmth to the tone of the guitar.
 
The soundboard of every Furch guitar is tuned using their proprietary voicing process, resulting in a tone that is crystalline clear, harmonically rich and balanced across the entire tonal spectrum.

The instrument is protected by Full-Pore Vintage Hand-Brushed Finish, a special finish that provides excellent surface protection and accentuates the structure of the wood at the same time. Final hand buffing leaves the guitar with an attractive patina that is reminiscent of aged musical instruments.
